Savory Pecan Burgers


Preheat grill or broiler. Form 12 flat ground beef patties. Sauté bacon until the fat begins to render (but not until crispy), then drain. Mix together fresh Louisiana Grown pecans, parsley, and onions with softened butter. Spread the mixture on 6 of the patties then top with the other 6 patties, sealing the edges with the bacon, secured with a (wooden) toothpick. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until desired doneness, flipping once. Serves 6.
